This 5 inch diameter x 1/4 inch thick heat-treated 17-4PH ring is a detail component of a landing gear assembly.
All finish machining was done after heat treating to Rc40 hardness.
All dimensions, concentricity and flatness are kept within .001″
All work was done on our multi axis lathe. The notches were done with live tooling-a radial milling head with a 3/8 Endmill.
